Physical AI and Robotics

This expert group works on physical AI and robotics in industrial settings - perception, motion, and control where a machine has to act next to people, equipment, and the automation already on the floor.

Andrew Smith and Amine Kharrat lead the group. The focus is what it takes to move a robot from a demo into dependable operation: data from the physical system, integration with engineering and operations, and practice other teams can reuse.
